 Article XI - Stewardship Ministry

Section Two:  Treasurer

The Treasurer must be a member of Valley View Baptist Church and shall be a member of the Stewardship Ministry.  The Treasurer shall be appointed by the members of Valley View Baptist Church at a special meeting called for that purpose.  The special meeting shall be announced from the pulpit on a Sunday morning at a regularly-scheduled worship service for the purpose of presenting the candidate to the congregation for a vote.  The special meeting shall be called no less than three days from the announcement, and the purpose and time of the meeting shall be mentioned in the announcement.  Upon a majority vote of members present at the special called meeting, the individual in question shall be appointed to the office of Treasurer.
